André Eckardt

German Institute for Animated Film

André Eckhardt was born in 1973 in Berlin and lives and works in Dresden. He studied anglistics and got "lost" when experiencing Brighton Cinematheque's experimental film programme during some study time abroad. Since 2008, Eckardt is the Director of the German Institute for Animated Film.

Verena Fels

Verena Fels was born 15.06.1980 in the south of Germany. After graduating 2004 in audiovisual media at the university of applied science "Hochschule der Medien",Stuttgart. Verena began her studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in animation and filmmaking at the Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and digital Postproduction. The shortfilm MOBILE is her graduation film. To her former projects counts f.e. the moment (directed by Verena Fels u. Csaba Letay) a trailer for the festival of animated film Stuttgart, which made up the mascot horse Trixi.
