Aron Gauder, Budapest

Aron Gauder was born in 1973 in Köszeg, Hungary. He studied at the University of Applied Arts in Budapest (Animation Department) and graduated in 1999 with his graduation film "The helping Soul". In 2002 he made some special effects for the film "Hukkle" and four years later for the film "Taxidermia", two movies by Hungarian director György Pálfi. In 2003 he made six episodes of "District" for the Hungarian television and he was the director of the animated feature film "The District", produced by Erik Novák in 2004. The movie has been distributed in numerous countries and was shown at several international film festivals. Currently Aron Gauder is working on a new feature titled "Egill – the last Pagan".

Vilnis Kalnaellis, Riga

Vilnis Kalnaellis started his animation career in 1991. And with the aim of developing a dynamic and visionary company, he founded Rija Films in 1995, which has gone on to produce over 40 Latvian animation films. These films have received 46 national and international awards, as well as being premiered and shown at prestigious festivals worldwide. He has also been involved in international cooperation projects, including "Belleville Rendez-Vous" and "Kirikou and the Sorceress" and has worked for the past ten years in close collaboration with Paramount, 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks in animation dubbing. He is the president of the Latvian Film Producers Aassociation and since 2006, he has also been the Latvian representative on the Cartoon Council, the European Association of Animation Film.

Isaac Kerlow, Singapore

Isaac Kerlow is an artist and director who pioneered the use of digital technology for creative applications. He started his career in New York City, and freelanced as animator and designer for the videogame industry in the 1980s and founded the first BFA/MFA computer animation degree program in the USA. During the late 1990s he was in charge of the art and animation group at Disney Interactive and later led the integration of new digital technologies throughout the art production pipeline of The Walt Disney Company. He wrote several books including "The Art of 3D Computer animation and effects", is Founding Dean of the first professional animation/ film/design school in Singapore and is currently artist-in-residence at the Earth Observatory of Singapore. Most recently Isaac was Festival Director of the SIGGRAPH 2010 Computer Animation Festival in Los Angeles.
