GAME ZONE – LEVEL UP!

Welcome to the Game Zone. Our free gamining hub of this year’s ITFS! Gamers of every age meet here to try the most recent games and talk about the latest trends in gaming. With our slogan LEVEL UP! we want to focus on multiplayer games, challenges and tournaments. Also this year is going to be the first time we award the Local Hero Games Award to a game developer from Baden-Württemberg. Along with well known games like Splatoon, a 4 player game that consists mostly of mercyless battles with paint, the Game Zone offers a variety of indoe games, like the party game Gang Beasts. Furthermore there will be special events like a Tutorial on Let’s Plays and a Games Developer Mini Workshop.

Dreamsphere

This interactive film invites to explore a nightmareish world. It induces fear in a subtle way almost without any jump scares or violence. Visitors can become a part of the film by wearing a VR Headset and by interacting with their surroundings. This turns Dreamsphere into a 360° immersive experience.

The plot is about the experiences of the child Domenic. Visitors have to make their way through his dream world. Interactive items in enigmatic scenes give evidence of past events.

Elena

“Elena” enables the players to experience the story in a personal way. As Anna they explore the world, examine items, make conclusions – and eventually reveal a secret. Elena is an exciting, emotional game with some unexpected twists.
