Presentation of the ANIMATED COM AWARD 2011 in Stuttgart:
The best advertising clips and applied animation 2011 are characterised by perfect illusions, humour and technical finesse
Stuttgart - For some it is advertising, for others the shortest feature films in the world. Despite being so apparent in everyday life, applied animation has established itself almost unnoticed as an independent genre somewhere between Hollywood blockbusters and artistic short films. The ANIMATED COM AWARD pays tribute to this development at the 18th Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film. This evening the award was presented to the best productions worldwide in the field of applied animation at the Württemberg Kunstverein (art society).
