“A Gazelle’s Wish” is a story from the old Panchatantra. The poetic film tells the story of a gazelle who is caught for a prince and gathers up the courage to resist its imprisonment. Gul Ramani is an Indian video artist who lives in Düsseldorf.

A postman is suspected of stealing mail. As proof of his innocence, he decides to start his own investigation in order to find the guilty person. The results of his investigation are surprising. The story takes place in the 1960s in Goa – many families were torn apart as a result of the war of independence from the Portuguese colonial power. Nikhita Prabhudesai is a student at the MIT Institute of Design in Pune. “The Mailbox” is her final project.

This film sympathetically describes the loneliness of an old woman and her cat who flee from reality into the fantasy world of matchbox pictures. In 2006 the film was shown for the first time at the Cannes Film Festival and won 23 international awards.

Gitanjali Rao is a freelance animator, filmmaker, and theater artist. She has realized several animated commercials and assisted in two feature length animated films. Currently, she is working on a new animated short film.

“The Bad Egg” is an early short film production from the renowned Indian animation studio Big Animation/Reliance Animation which was a guest at the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart in 2013 with the feature film “Krishna Aur Khans.” The short film was the audience favorite at many international animated film festivals.
