Stuttgart - Metropolis of the Animated Film

The team from the 16th Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film thanks you for your great interest and enthusiasm that yet again was the guarantee for that festival flair typical of Stuttgart.

We hope that you enjoyed the Festival as much as we did and that you will be back again next year when once again it will be time to raise the curtain for animated film.

The 17th Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film will take place between May 4th and 9th 2010.

In order that the last Festival remains a happy memory, we have posted photos and videos on our homepage and our Community pages at facebook, MySpace, YouTube and flickr.

In addition to the “Best of Animation” DVDs from recent years, you can find T-shirts, posters and the catalogue for this year‘s ITFS in our Online-Shop.

I love the Stuttgart Animation Festival for many reasons:
The location is great! It's right downtown, next to a beautiful city center park, with easy access to the old city. The programming is fantastic, with great films, and filmmakers from around the world gather at the nearby festival tent to drink and talk about animation. But the best part is the audiences - they're smart, appreciative, enthusiastic, and they pack the cinemas.
