spotlight – Festival for Moving Picture Communication
Animated Com Award and spotlight – Festival for moving pictures communication joined in 2017.
For the first time in 2017 the award was presented in a joint award gala by spotlight – Festival for moving picture communication and Animated Com Award. The award ceremony took place on saturday, Mai 5, 2017 at the Alte Reithalle Stuttgart. spotlight is the most important festival for moving picture communication within the German-speaking area. It is made up of the only ranking-relevant creative competition of Baden-Württemberg for professionals and students, as well as from training and education events.
German-language contributions for animated commisioned work in the field of advertising were for the first time considered in the category spotlight ANIMATED COM. The Animated Com Award International of the 24th Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film 2017 considered international films from non-German-speaking countries. They commended excellent contributions from applied animation in the field of international advertising.
