    The ITFS children’s program for playing and discovery
  • Galas & Awards Ceremonies

  • Live stream:
    Free and live from the open air at Stuttgart’s Schlossplatz.
  • ITFS VR Hub:
    Our digital Schlossplatz – choose an avatar and meet other festival visitors in our virtual reality world
  • ONLINE+:
    Our media library with the short and feature-length films of the competitions as well as other supporting programs (only accessible from Germany / subject to a fee). Which films in detail are available in the media library ONLINE+, you will find in the event calendar.
  • ONLINE PRO:
    The digital offer for the industry provides access to the entire ONLINE+ media library without geo-blocking, i.e. the films are available worldwide, as well as further Talks & Presentations, access to the Animated Video Market, participation in the digital APDs conference and networking opportunities.

Motto

“Black is Back!” is the motto of the first hybrid Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film. True to this motto, the ITFS 2022 will focus on the fundamentals of animation – reduction, simplification and clarity. The festival trailer of the same name was created by François Chalet and Michael Fakesch.

Tickets are available in different versions – for the audience and the industry.

  • Accreditations Professionals HYBRID and ONLINE are available via our ticket shop on the website.
  • Tickets for the ONLINE+ media library (short film pass as well as feature film ONLINE+) will be available soon.
