Every spring, running at the same time as the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS), FMX – Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Immersive Media usually attracts the international professional audience to Stuttgart. However, 2021 will be a very special edition of FMX: For the first time, professionals and students from all over the world will gather virtually at FMX 2021 Online (May 4 – 6, 2021).
Business Platform for the International Animation Industry
Animation Production Days (APD) is the only German co-production and financing marketplace event which is focused exclusively on animation. It is taking place as part of the 28th Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) and the FMX – Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Immersive Media. At APD, German and international producers present their films, series, games and cross-media projects to potential co-production partners, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents, funders and investors in a series of fruitful one-to-one meetings.
51 projects from 22 countries have been selected for APD 2021. All meetings will take place via a central online platform as video meetings.
