Live Animation and analog video games


Create your own scenes and make video games come alive. Prof. Friedrich Kirschner (Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art) will show you creative ways to combine digital technology with puppetry and object theatre.

Graffiti-Workshop (age 14 and older)

In this workshop, graffiti artist Phixe21 from Stuttgart will teach you techniques, composition, and tips and tricks for drawing, so that on the second day you will be able to spray your own picture on the walls of the Hall of Fame.

Storytelling and Visualization in Animation

 

This workshop with Gregor Dashuber and Milen Vitanov of the Talking Animals Animation Studio in Berlin gives participants the opportunity to dive deep into the pre-production process for an animated film: project discussion, design, storyboard (animatic). Stories brought along by the participants will undergo the various stages of this process.

Films and Fabrics in Modern Art (for adults: Friday, 25.4.; for teens: Saturday, 26.4.)

 

Together with Estonian animated film maker and media artist Rao Heidmets, we will make films based on our own ideas and experiment with the stop motion technique, following a visit to the current exhibition “Art & Textile.
