The Festival focuses on artistic animated films and the promotion of talent. A total of up to € 50,000 in prize money is awarded in the various competition sections.
The AniX Awards is the industry’s platform showcasing the German Animation Screenplay Awards, the Trickstar Business Award, and the ASIFA Prize. The grand ITFS Awards Ceremony features the Grand Prix alongside the Lotte Reiniger Prize, the Student Competition prize, the Trickstar Nature Award, AniMovie prizes, and the Animated Games Award Germany. The Tricks for Kids Awards Ceremony takes place on the main open-air stage.
